What We Want

An end to the huge pay packages in order for donated funds to be distributed to the disabled veterans who so desperately need them.

After reading about DAV’s enormous pay packages, a DAV Member, who had been donating for decades, mailed the article to DAV National, asking that they cease soliciting from him.

He received the below letter from National Adjutant J. Marc Burgess, who attempted to make their between $5,000 and $10,000 weekly incomes more palatable to this fixed-income pensioner, who was not persuaded in the least:
